Medication Assistance Programs
Medication Assistance Programs
We compile coupons and prescription assistance information to help patients and families find free or reduced-cost asthma medications. Follow the steps below to find the best coupons and prescription assistance programs that can reduce the cost of your asthma medications. To share these savings opportunities, print the medication assistance postcard for patients, partners, family and friends.
Identify the name of your asthma medication
Saving money on your asthma medication can be as easy as 1-2-3!
First, identify the name of your asthma medication by referring to your current prescription. Don’t forget to search for discounts on your spacers or valved holding chambers as well (e.g., AeroChamber, Optichamber, Easivent)!
Refer to the below poster from Allergy & Asthma Network if needed.
Search for prescription discount cards and coupons
There are prescription discount cards and coupons available from many third-party companies. You can search the internet for discount cards and coupons for your specific medication. We have provided links to some common sites below!
America’s Pharmacy BuzzRx Choice Drug Card Drugs.com
GoodRx (your doctor can provide a card) NeedyMeds Optum Perks
Find your medication for manufacturer coupons and assistance programs
Manufacturer coupons, also referred to as copay coupons or copay assistance programs, are issued by the pharmaceutical company that makes a particular brand name drug and can only be used on that brand of drug. Below is a list of manufacturers, followed by the names of the medications they make in parentheses; check to see if your medication is listed.
Please note, there are restrictions regarding the use of a combination of the third-party discounts, manufacturer discounts, and your insurance. Please review the restrictions listed for your medication.
