Barneveld Area Rescue Squad and Fitch-Rona EMS named 2019 Wisconsin EMSC Pediatric Champions of the Year

Barneveld Area Rescue Squad and Fitch-Rona EMS have been named 2019 Wisconsin EMSC Pediatric Champions of the Year. This award recognizes Wisconsin EMS providers, crews or stations nominated for outstanding pediatric care in a medical emergency or trauma event, and exceptional effort in pediatric training, quality improvement programs or child injury prevention.

Barneveld Area Rescue Squad and Fitch-Rona EMS have worked in close collaboration to provide life-saving care for children in their communities. Staff from American Family Children’s Hospital nominated Barneveld Area Rescue Squad and Fitch-Rona EMS for their partnership, dedication to pediatric patients and critical thinking, which has led to positive health outcomes for critically-injured and acutely ill children in their communities.
