The Wisconsin Asthma Coalition and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Asthma Program held two Healthy Homes trainings for local public health department staff.
Healthy Homes training focuses on seven principles of healthy housing: keeping it dry, clean, pest-free, ventilated, safe, contaminant-free and maintained.
More than 35 individuals from across the state participated in the sessions held in Milwaukee and Marshfield. Attendees gained insight into the ways housing impacts health and learned actions they can take to improve clients’ lives. Thank you to all who participated.
