On Oct. 6, Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin (the Alliance) celebrated National Child Health Day by inviting partners statewide to showcase their commitment to children’s health. The response was incredible!
A statewide movement
National Child Health Day, observed annually on the first Monday in October, is a reminder of the importance of children’s health and well-being. This year, we asked our partners to join us in highlighting the vital work being done daily to support Wisconsin’s kids – and they answered the call.
Partners statewide, including health departments, hospitals, clinics, dental providers and state agencies, came together on Oct. 6 to share their commitments #ForKidsHealth. From mental health support and pediatric readiness to policy advocacy, safe sleep practices, teen driving safety, dental care accessibility, air quality education and family parenting resources, the scope of work happening statewide is truly inspiring.
