We’re thrilled to share some big news! Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin (the Alliance), in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin, has been awarded an Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin (AHW) Community-Led Momentum Grant!

The two-year project is called Boosting Better Breathing: Supplying School Buildings with Durables that Promote Healthy Lungs. It will provide easy-to-use tools that help control asthma to schools in six counties: Brown, Kenosha, Menominee, Milwaukee, Racine and Rock. These counties were chosen because they have high rates of asthma.

Expanding beyond Milwaukee County
This project will help us continue and grow our work with schools. It will also bring our programs and resources to new places statewide! For example, the Love My Air Wisconsin program will expand beyond Milwaukee into the counties listed above, and we can’t wait to see it grow.

We are excited and thankful for this new opportunity!
