Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile Program
According to Oral Health America, approximately 75 percent of teeth sealed remain cavity free, compared to less than a third of teeth without sealants. The state continues to subcontract with the Alliance to administer mini grants for school-based and school-linked dental sealant programs. During the 2010-11 school year 17,767 Wisconsin children in 406 schools received 74,276 sealants.

Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile Funding
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Oral Health Program (OHP) has received funding from state general purpose revenue (GPR) and Delta Dental of Wisconsin to support the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile (SAS) program. The Alliance is contracted by DHS to administer the SAS program. The Alliance and OHP work collaboratively to manage the entire program.
