According to Oral Health America, approximately 75 percent of teeth sealed remain cavity free, compared to less than a third of teeth without sealants. The state continues to subcontract with the Alliance to administer mini-grants for school-based and school-linked dental sealant programs. During the 2008-09 school year 6,266 Wisconsin children received 27,079 sealants.
