- America's Children: Key Indicators of Well-being, 2007 - This forum on child and family statistics was given the charge to develop priorities for collecting enhanced data on children and youth, improve the reporting and dissemination of information on the status of children to the policy community and general public, and produce more complete data on children at the state and local levels.
- Early literacy materials in English and Spanish - These free materials include activities for adults and young children that encourage early language and literacy development from birth through preschool. They are appropriate for children with disabilities as well as children who are developing typically.

The National Children's Study is designed to answer the question: How does a child's environment - the air they breathe, the water they drink and the community they live in - affect their health and well-being? The study will follow 100,000 children across the U.S. from before birth to adulthood. This information may allow researchers to determine the root causes of many childhood and adult diseases, including asthma and allergies, autism, obesity and diabetes. Waukesha County was selected as one of 105 communities across the country where the study will take place.
