  • National Children's Study is designed to answer the question: How does a child's environment - the air they breathe, the water they drink and the community they live in - affect their health and well-being? The study will follow 100,000 children across the U.S. from before birth to adulthood. This information may allow researchers to determine the root causes of many childhood and adult diseases, including asthma and allergies, autism, obesity and diabetes. Waukesha County was selected as one of 105 communities across the country where the study will take place.
