Practical Oral Care for People with Developmental Disabilities
(2 credits) (CYSHCN) – This course presents an overview of physical, mental and behavioral challenges common in persons with developmental disabilities and offers strategies for providing oral care.
Smiles for Life – A comprehensive oral health curriculum for primary care clinicians. Course materials include seven PowerPoint modules, pocket guides and patient education materials.
Special Care: An Oral Health Professional’s Guide to Serving Young Children with Special Health Care Needs (4 credits) (CYSHCN) - This series of five modules is designed to provide oral health professionals with information to help ensure that young children with special health care needs have access to health promotion and disease prevention services that address their unique oral health needs in a comprehensive, family-centered, and community-based manner.
